New Gas Concepts, Inc. is a project development company formed to develop industrial plants producing chemicals and renewable fuels using gasification technologies.
Current Projects
Its current project, Dixie Pellets, LLC involves the construction and operation of the world’s largest wood pellet production plant in Selma, Alabama. The pellets are barged down the Alabama River to the Port of Mobile, and exported to European Union electrical utilities as feedstock for power generation. Because Dixie Pellets is utilizing renewable wood sources, gasification technology, and will minimize the carbon emissions in transportation, its pellets qualify as a “green” energy source in the EU. Favorable incentives for green power sources make the pellets valuable to buyers in the EU.
New Gas Concepts is pleased to announce our second project, DG Pellets I, LLC which is located in Jackson, Alabama. Dixie Green will produce wood pellets utilizing renewable wood sources. The pellets will be barged out of the Port of Jackson, to Mobile, for export to European Union electrical utilities as feedstock for power generation.
